Kim Sleath-Accredited Saddle Fitter for Leicestershire.

Kim is on the British Dressage Trainers Database and a qualified BHSAI Int SM plus a diploma in Sports Psychology. She is also a group 2 BD rider.Kim also worked for the event Rider Matt Ryan as a 3 day event groom which included the Barcelona Olympics, where Matt won both individual and team gold.

She started her competitive career in Show jumping, moving onto eventing, competing up to Intermediate (where she found the jumps got a bit big!!!) and because Dressage seemed her weakest area, Kim found it compelling to get better at it.

Now her main area of competing and teaching is Dressage, and has taken her “ordinary” home bred horse “Just the Job” successfully to Prix St George and Inter 1 level.Kim occasionally competes on her clients horses, she recently won a novice and elementary on “Orient Express” owned by Julie Edwards, also had her first attempt, in training, at both Inter II and Grand Prix on Black Jac, owned by Lisa Swanwick.

Now she has semi retired “Just the Job” now as he is now over 20 and has another home bred 4yr old “Ferdie” to bring out this year, he has a lot to live up if he is to fill “Just the Jobs” shoes!!!!!!!

Kim got interested in saddle fitting because, during teaching, she often felt that the horse was going badly because the saddle was of poor quality or a poor fit and had only limited knowledge of how to fix it. So began a new career in saddle fitting!
